tHE Bay of Biscay seems popular this year with the tracked birds
These birds are so exciting!
This is the photo from LotL's latest blog - I presume it's BlueYD, can anyone confirm? A very pretty osplet, anyway :-)
EDIT - Yes, it is he :-) His picture just popped up on my GE.
HOWEVER, I can't refresh him landwards, he is still in the north of the BofB.
IMAGICAT
Yes, sweet thing, it's Blue YD SCYLLA .... giving the 'eye' to a recently brought in flat fish - a flouder to boot!
EDIT yes, me too. My GE shows him still overflying BofB - hurry up the next update
God speed to him - at least he has westerly winds - I hope!
jsb said: Bay of Biscay tonight animated wind chart, any sailors are welcome to comment. Ceulan has a tail wind, but he needs to keep a southerly bearing, as the further west he heads, the wind will take him on a more westerly bearing which would be too far, with the obvious risk. B of B wind Use the buttons to pause the graphics. A more positive comment is that the wind strength in the B of B itself, is forecast at approx 15 knots. Sandra has just posted this.
