Update of Aigan, Fearna, Fiddich, Red 8T and Rothiemurchus.
Fiddich set off on the 8th and is still in Scotland at Dunblane, just in time to celebrate with all Andy Murray's fans, family and friends! :o)
LOL jsb. Well done Fiddich! Hope be brought a bottle with him.

LuckyWhite 13 update for 7th, only just noticed it. In SE Spain north of Alicante, inland. Will look for more info tomorrow.
On GE Ceulan is shown at 9pm 10th, just over the border in Mauritania.
Ceulan, initial data shows he is passing over Western Sahara, heading for the Senegal River. More later.
Thanks for the photos, JSB; Cally has gone from one extreme to another when compared to the peace and tranquility of Loch Garten! Perhaps she's decided that the food is plentiful and the bridges make good perches, so why leave? Or maybe she didn't have a good experience on her migration path and decided to stop. Or perhaps she enjoys the hustle and bustle of this heavily built up area....who knows. Either way she is safe and sound and that is all that matters. It shows how readily these birds can adapt to whatever is best for them.
[edit] Thank you for putting your time into this thread. It's invaluable for finding out about the rest of our 'family' too.
I suppose there are no hard and fast rules for Ospreys, especially when you look at Helllgate. They raise their family in a car park outside a doctors surgery, with people, dogs, cars and lawnmowers creating a noise all day long, not to mention the freight trains!!!
Ceulan's position relative to Senegal River, about 365 miles to go.
Is Ceulan going to beat Alba's record?
I think it depends on how you define record. Let us see how the distance and time of the two journey's compare first.
In 15 years of tracking ospreys there has never been anything like Alba's journey and then within days we get a similar one.
