Tiger: Many thanks for the background information. Clare and Scylla I shall pass on your thoughts to the patient.
Thanks, JSB, that's appreciated.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Ceulan has gone. See map here
Stay safe Ceulan, waiting for updates now. Thank you Tiger.
Thank you for the update. After everything that this little guy has been through he deserves to make it to Africa and back again for many years to come.
Ceulan will probably be speaking French Osprich by now!
Do you think he would have crossed yesterday Tiger, he seems to be heading on apace just like Alba and Cally did on their first day on the road. Only lazy little Blue boy left.... hope all his feeding and early fishing has set him in good health for the journey. I guess the little Threave chicks will be last to leave Scotland and it was blowing a gale last night but warm and sunny today - the weather definitely on the turn - minus 5 recorded in the highlands the other night and ice scraping onthe cars last Friday morning.
LMac It looks very much as if he did cross yesterday. Ems has plotted more points and it hows that he reached the south coast. It all depends whether there are any more points available. So he either crossed to France or roosted on the south coast.
