The more you rush, the longer it takes
Lovely capture, Annette. So it looks like he's not quite gone yet!

Great set of captures, Kate2. Caught up and looking at the nest it is ENS again. Will Blue44/Lewis go today?
Yes Blue 44 is 91 days today. That is well into the fledging window.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the updates and pics, I've just been checking my dates on when blue hatched compared to LG and he is 3 days younger than Alba and given he hasn't ventured too far from the nest I think he will hang around for a few more days till the weather is favourable mid week hopefully. :)
I wish All three of our lowes osprey family a safe journey and return next year and Blue a safe and happy long life where ever he goes. x

Yes but Caledonia went on 95 days which is one of the latest migrations for a juvenile.
Here is a chart for the history of Loch Garten
We have countup clocks for a variety of juveniles including Blue 44. See countup clocks
Me too NITEOWL but hope he doesn't miss the weather window. Now that Blue 44 is catching his own fish he is due to depart , bless him.
Hello Cirrus, I totally agree, It is a comfort to know he is fishing unlike others that have to learn the hard way on migration through sheer hunger.
BFN see you all next march. :) :''''(
I hope Blue will be around for a few more days. It si great when you look in expecting to see an empty nest and discover he is there after all.
Bye NiteOwl. This will be a deserted forum too, soon
