If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Yesterday Cirrus asked me if there was a countdown clock for Lady's return. Well there wasn't at the time but I made one last night. Here it is:

Chloe, I don't think I can wait 233 days. :-(

Thank you all for the lovely pics and updates the last couple of days! I can't wait for 233 days to pass until Lady returns! I hope she keeps safe wherever she goes, and I will be waiting for her to return next year!

SilverS11 - I'm glad you enjoyed your visit at Lowes, how lucky to be able to just get in the car and go!
What lovely words from Everyone, regarding this nest and our dear Lady. And a super poem from Cirrus. Thank You Cirrus.
Thanks too, to all of you who have posted such great pics on this latest thread and indeed all of the others on this thread, this year. It always strikes me what a beautiful nest this one is, and in such a desired location - the Estate Agents would warble well over it! ~ "wonderful views of nearby lake"..... " Plenty of easily accessed shopping nearby"......... "a most desirable residence in a prime location, close to woods and not overlooked by neighbours ............." etc!!!!
I too hope that our dear Lady will safely return next year from her holidays in warmer climes, and that maybe she has some inkling of how much we admire her tenacity, devotion and sense of duty. She is definitely One Special Osprey.
Just super CHLOE and thank you , thank you
Nice surprise to pop in and see Blue on the nest ....dozing...preening.....but still alert
