How many of us are torn between dread and hope for the new day to come?
The peace and quiet of the LG nest is punctuated solely by unalarming chick noises. Long may that last.
IMAGICAT
EJ has her wing over the chick that is breathing so hard. I can see her wing rising and falling
The breathing is also more rapid than the chick laying in front of her
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
EJ just had a very brief flyaround and landed... strangely :-/
#1 is having a fidget out front and just put its wing around EJ, for a second. Getting independent!
That looked like she missed the nest .
On your video now it looks like #3 is in front . But it is so dark I can't be sure
Look at EJ's far wing how it is rising and falling
It would actually be her left wing
It is rising and falling much faster than the back on the chick in front

Sorry to lose you, Heron ;-* See ya 2morra ;-)
EJ's head has been bobbing up and down for quite some time - is a chick heavy-breathing under her chin? Or what's going on?
There seems to be a chick in distress. It has rapid hard breathing
One chick is out from under her in the back and it looks like one of the older chicks
It is the chick in the front doing the rapid heavy breathing , but I can't see which chick that is
Scylla, re that vehicle I mentioned in the previous Daily Update: The lights were definitely off. I was watching on full screen view at the time, and I was fascinated that I had actually seen the night shift arrive!
