  • Happy Christmas to all LG Bloggers.

AQ - lovely to hear your encounter with the Octagenarian - how many of the younger generation of today would think to walk 2Km home?!!  Also love some of your stories - causes many LOLs!

  • AQ, those fires do bring it home and perhaps you need to go through it to get that perspective. Terrible. Hope you are having a lovely day and enjoying the "cool" temps. Luckily for us the storm is missing us but I know Caerann is and possibly Diane could be affected. Just saw on the news that every Interstate (motorway) in one State is closed due to the snow etc and they are sending helicopters in the morning to rescue motorists. It is a bad one.

Anyway, on a happier note (!) Merry christmas to Alan , Liz , OG and everyone else here and catch up tomorrow with those around:))))

  • AQ: Well you're well into Christmas Day there. By the time we start, you'll be just about done.  I bet that lady was thrilled to get a ride home. Oh no! People losing their homes right before Christmas.   Heron: What a fat little Robin - so sweet and so helpful too!

And at the point of sounding repetitive everyone have a lovely Christmas, full of the true meaning of the day, no matter where you are.

  • I'm fine here, Gary. Thanks. We are on the edge of the storm, and we're getting only rain and high winds so far. Hope Caerann is doing okay. I'm sure sorry for all of the people threatened by the blizzards or the fires.

Happy holiday to everyone! I wish you all joy and peace!

  • GOOD MORNING AND MERRY XMAS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS.  HAVE A REALLY ENJOYABLE DAY WHEREVER YOU ARE

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL BLOGGERS ON THIS SITE AS YOU HAVE ALL MADE MY LIFE A LOT MORE ENJOYABLE WITH YOUR CHAT PICTURES AND NOT FORGETTING THE POEMS THAT WE HAVE HAD DURING THE YEAR, and remember what you dont't eat and drink today there is always a tomorrow.

  • Good morning all and happy christmas:)) Hope everyone has a lovely day and enjoy all the festivities.

I agree with all you say George:)

Diane, glad you are missing the storm

Have a wonderful day and dip in later.

  • PATRICIAT  Lovely photos of Tweed and Indy.......Think it is Indy with the one ear up, one down. They are both lovely looking dogs.

  • I hope all have had / are having / will have a great Christmas day. It does seem strange to think we are in the morning-after while people like Annette are still indulging. We had a great family day. We collected m-i-l (the nursing home must have been derelict LOL), didn't eat too much, exchanged small gifts or vouchers for the new-home-people, and returned home to a simple tea of tomato, cucumber & ham.

. . . and that means the cook doesn't have to cook tomorrow!  Yet I am. Because one daughter was missing yesterday, daus (& appendages) are coming for a simple lunch tomorrow. They won't expect or want a big meal.
