I think I might go to bed right after this and stay in bed until noon today for some reason :)
BTW WHITE RABBITS!
Well, I have predicted Odin's return today, along with others. Will we be right? Watch this space!

Done the summary and you will see I have quoted from Richard's blog as it is quite detailed, so hope you don't mind.
Thank you for the summery Lynette. Great work as always :)
I have a theory as to why XD was so eager to do everything so urgently, compared to laid back Odin, well most of the time.
XD's nest had collapsed and he had to find a new one and quick if he was going to get any offspring this year. Being a LG neighbour, he knew that EJ had a mate, and perhaps he was going super speed to ensure fertilisation for some of HIS chicks before/if if her mate returned and evicted him. Like Rachel said, I think that he would have fought harder if EJ hadn't attacked him as her old mate returned. Job done as far as XD was concerned. Never put all your eggs in one basket, and now his own nest is restored, he may well have a second clutch too. Good luck with the rest of your season XD.

Great summary Lynette, thanks :)
PATILY, I hope you see this - I couldn't find the posh link instructiojs and also couldn't PM you to tell you that, but today has been "difficult" here and am hoping to perk up and get with it ASAP.
I've been thru all the footage from when I was offline and the evening mating (video posted earlier) was the only visit to the nest that I found.
CHLOE, great cartoon - watch out Posy! ;-)
Off to the Q&A to see what CRinger had to say.

I can't even edit the J in instructions - time for a browser change yet again?
An osprey is still on the branch but I can't tell who it is with the breast highighted.
Thanks for a great summary Lynette :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Absolutely, Chris:
WELL! I am back from being out of town and, thanks to you bloggers, I see that Chloe's predictions will go down in history as being ON THE MARK for Odin's return! Hooray! But I hope the best for XD who I hope returns to a rehabilitated nest and his established mate to raise a successful brood this year (...with happy memories of his fling with EJ).
