Hi everyone. If you didn't check the last few pages of the previous week, it was very busy. I'm going to catch up all the latest posts after dinner.
Hello everyone.Quite cold here, with temperatures around 3C. Felt more like -3 when I was out earlier. Theres's been a couple of snow flurries but nothing substantial. Really hope it doesn't thaw then freeze. I can't stand balck ice. Fairly certain I saw a buzzard on my way home. Didn't get a long enough look to be sure though.Djoan S: Love the picture of the starlings. They're such entertaining wee birds and I could never tire of watching them.Alan Petrie: Thanks for posting the webcam links. Great images.Gary: Thanks for posting The Christmas Can Can video. Some very funny lyrics. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can relate to the line about Christmas starting earlier every year.Happy Thursday everyone.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Snow has stopped now and has not been lying. Clear sky at the moment.

Good Morning Day:
A bit gloomy and overcast here today with current temp 23f/-5c expected to go up to freezing mark. Briefly, I'm apt to fall on the ice too so am hoping my sweetie will get me these very clever "snow tires for the feet"

Running off (carefully) now but shall return. Happy Thorsday!
Here is some data from the euring site which may be of interest:

Morning/evening all: AQ: You must lie down and take a rest after burning up all those creative juices!! :-)) Glad the weather has cooled down. Auntie: Charming Santa Claus site; lovely illustrations - I had no idea Lady Sun snored. Tried to do a jigsaw puzzle but no luck loading it. Enjoy your book. OG: Found Pacman on Woodlands site (shows where I am on the computer geek scale). Would love to see a pantomime again. Was such a tradition at the Palace in Watford. Congrats on gas service. jsb: Thanks so much for the Thunderbird link - all is explained! Now I have a frame of reference when Alan throws out some cryptic TI reference. Lady P very classy lady! Gary: Yes, Alan's home looks vaguely familiar. Suspect near Palm Springs, which is snow-country-adjacent. Christmas Can-Can lots of fun! Djoan: Have learned more about starlings (and wish they were around here) in the last three pages than ever suspecteed. Tiger: Marvellous shots from palemale - makes me want to learn more about the photographer and that injured - what? pigeon? Alan: Great German webcam - assume stork R&R in between delivering babies. Must Google euring! Caerann: I've actually ordered stuff from the Vermont Country Store site.
Loved all the posts - thanks to all. Off to do more running around today - but locally, then to the rose garden, then out for Chinese with OH and old friend. Take care all, especially with that black ice - nasty stuff. Oh, and sunny here and in high 60s.
Alan: You said: "...Lady P is due home late tonight there is some frantic tidying up to be done and I had better get on with it instead of messing about on the internet."
Can't you call in International Rescue to hasten the clean-up mission? :-) FAB!
Caerann: I actually placed an order with the Vermont Country Store last night! I was at a loss for a gift for an aging great aunt, and I ordered some of the wonderful hard-milled Vermont soaps.
re: the snow tires for the feet. I had a pair once, and they are great! So great to have you back, Caerann.
Diane : IR are far to busy to deal with such menial tasks. Being the youngest of the Tracy family I am left to do the donkey work.
FAB
