Hi everyone. If you didn't check the last few pages of the previous week, it was very busy. I'm going to catch up all the latest posts after dinner.
Hi Patriciat, yes I had a frustrating evening writing some long blogs and then couldn't get on to the site to post them. The whole of the RSPB site appeared to be down. All seems fine again now.
Morning all from TI,
Just had a message that LadyP has landed safely at Dublin airport on her Irish mission.
It will be nice to be my own boss for a few days. There will definately be a lull in the shopping Missions and a lot more footie on Sky Sports on tv.
Yesterday it was collared doves today it is 2 large pigeons. I have nothing against pigeons but they do go through the bird food rather quickly.
Weather is dull today but at least it is dry much better than yesterday
Temp 2.1c
Snowing at store mosse . Is this what is heading our way?

Maybe that's why there were no international updates!! Hope they'll come back when they wake up!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

That bird broke all the rules. She bred as a two year old.

So maybe 2010 for Nethy!!
Morning Alan glad Lady P has arrived safely. My OH quite enjoys his time to do what he wants when I go away without him. Plays all his music that I don't like as loud as he can and like you watches all the football. I do let him watch football while I am here but I prefer to listen to music while it is on on the Ipod so at least I am watching but not listening to all the chat.
I have just had about 12 wood pigeons and 3 squirrels in the garden. I put a bowl of nuts out away from the main feeders which they tend to go to so my birds are left to feed on the main feeders I have out.
Cold here but drezzly rain and we might even get some snow later in the week accompanies by sub zero temperatures so I will not be going out much if it all turns slippery.
Thanks for the link it looks lovely especially when I am sat in the warm. Enjoy your day.

Good morning original goldfinch lovely photo of the dove.
Morning Lindybird and how right you are it is lovely to view the world through the eyes of a child.
Gary I feel the same way we must be positive as there is much evidence of transmitter failures. I am sure Mallachie is safe and well.
