This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.
Just added Blue 44 to my Google Earth:
Adding the osprey data to Google Earth
1.Launch the Google Earth software
2.Go to the Add menu and click Network Link...
3.Enter 'Scottish Wildlife Trust osprey tracking' in the Name field
4.Paste the following address into the Link field:
scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/osprey_tracking.kml
5.On the refresh tab, change to Periodically every 24 hours
6.Click OK to add the Trust's osprey data to the Places list on the left hand side of the screen.
7.Alternatively, if you click the link above and choose to open it in Google Earth, it will load directly, but not be saved in your list of places.
Thanks Alan; job done.

It would be interesting to see where 03(97) winters - although even more so if they also tracked a few more of his offspring: that might answer one or two interesting questions. But he is one of the oldest birds around - they may prefer to try for the younger males, for the best chance of getting several years worth of data. I too hope the site K male is one of them, if only to see if the theory re his identity is correct.
Swedish osprey 57375 latest position:
Not sure what to make of Swedish osprey 19153. Started migration ok but signals have been coming from Western Sahara since 18th May about 20 miles from the coast. Looks like an unlikely place for an osprey to be but signals are showing movement:
