This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.

If Rothiemurchus is in Cumbria now, it is very feasible that he was around Dyfi yesterday when they reported an intruder possibly wearing a Darvic ring. Will be interesting to see what the full data says when RD has it.
When does RD expect to get that? Do we know?

I think it comes in over a period of hours.
All to do with the stalletite (sic).
Tiger Signature
There's a comment on the Dyfi Facebook page that the intruder did not have an ariel, so couldn't be Rothiemurchus. I'll still be interested to see the data - I'm not 100% convinced that the photographs I have seen would have shown an ariel if there was one.

The ring was also said to be black in colour not blue as in the case of Rothiemurchus.
Detail of Rothie's route through England and Wales:

So Rothiemurchus gave Dyfi a miss this year.
Might have flown over my house and I didn't see him!
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
The next download from Rothiemurchus' tag is due tomorrow (Tuesday). Will he have stayed in his Cumbrian haunts, or will he have headed into Scotland. My guess is the former, which makes the latter the more likely option.
Rothiemurchus update. He spent a few days south of Carlisle, but has moved on to the Scottish border region today (15th)
