This Topic has been set up to follow the Spring 2012 migration, and summer activities, of satellite tracked ospreys, excluding Rothes and Tore from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread.
It replaces this earlier thread, Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2011 - Feb 2012.
09 is on his way home:
"09 is flying home to Rutland! He was heading north through southerm Mauritania at 3pm this afternoon "
Alan - Thanks - Two fold news from RW today - One sad with the loss of Blue AW (Maroon AA) and always great news to hear once a bird is on the way home especially as one as old as 09/98. Safe journey and get a mate this year.
Alan thank you for the news of 09 and worrying times for AW and we will not have to wait long as we will be sure one way or the other soon. I do so hope AW does come back to Rutland.
Rutland will be devastated and Dyfi also

Morven is migrating.
Roy D's view is that she left on 11th March, compared with the 16th last year.
Sue C - Great news and great we are still getting good signals from what Roy describes as a dodgy TX.
Update from Dyfi:
"Einion's data has just come in, he's fine and in the same place after a short excursion to Leri's last position!. Dulas' information will be with us later on, Google Earth will be updated by tea time."
Don't want to hear that Einion has gone to the same place that Leri's was last in, hope he doesnt stay there too long.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Definitely not, Mary. Hope he moves on soon.
I know Valerie my heart just sank when I read that.
