There was also discussion on this board recently about dividing it into "Other UK nests" and "Nests outside UK" or similar, based on the fantastic pics from Estonia. If we have a Dyfi thread as well as the Rutland thread, will it work if we then leave the other nests (UK and non-UK) all together? As this would give us one more thread in the group do we think that is OK?
I think it would be good to agree any changes we want promptly as 1 June would be a good time to cut in amy changes we wamt to make. Thoughts anyone?

I agree AG that we should start a dedicated Dyfi thread from June 1st. I think it would also be an opportune time to split this thread into "Other UK Osprey Nests" and "Non-UK Osprey Nests".
Sandra absolutely not having a go at you at all. I have no idea where you are coming from?
What I was saying was some sites you cannot post comments e.g LOTL and be careful here and food for thought and not just you but all. I do not want to lose the main reason this forum is here and primarily it is LG and I would never start a thread on another project.
Dyfi have facebook and yes the most wonderful camera and I am hooked.
a bit offtopic but: I am kind of a "no facebook person" - I sometimes read there if I have no other possibility but I will strictly never get a facebook account and not post on any facebook site. But indeed, that IS my very personal "problem" and a selfmade limitation.

I look forward to news from other nests and maybe a Dyfi thread should be started but I have been vocal and never lie about it. I do not think appropriate but go for it. You will anyway but I think it is moraly wrong as much as I love the Dyfi project.

The night cam at Dyfi is really clear! I would like to see a separate thread for this nest, I see no reason why not. If it's going to get a lot of posts (which it looks as if it will) then it's easier to follow if it has its own thread.
I cannot possibly see why it should be considered "morally wrong" to have a separate thread. Such talk is inflammatory and divisive.

I have been looking to see if the third egg has hatched, but no luck seeing so far. It's windy at Dyfi this morning and the chicks are being well covered.

Morning all. No report on the Dyfi website of a third hatching. Nora is sitting tight at the moment.

Dyfi's facebook page says that the third egg has had cracks for a couple of days, that this is not a good sign, and that more is likely to become apparent today.
After yesterday's discussion a separate thread for posts about the Dyfi nest has been started here
Suggest all posts relating to Monty, Nora and events at the Cors Dyfi nest are posted uner the new thread.
