Dunedin male:
With all these posts relating to the one nest is it worth starting a thread for this nest, otherwise posts relating to other nests will get lost. What are others thoughts?
Yes, I'm happy to do that. It is an interesting nest. and we have such a good view of it.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Osprey camera in Maryland with one chick here
Re the Estonia nest, They were named Piret and Madis on the Estonian Forum and are still being called that today.
Ah, thanks Alan! Guess we'd better follow suit then.
Chick being fed at Maryland:
It will be a miracle if this egg ever hatches (Estonia). SOOO much fiddling about by both and such unfriendly nesting material, tangled roots (I think) In comparrison Odin and EJ's nest is five star with lovelly soft moss etc.

Eek! Sorry, everyone, I really thought that Piret was elsewhere and that this was a new female.
EDIT re a separate kalakotkas thread - I may not be able to monitor them very closely when the LG chicks materialise, fingers crossed.
