Dunedin male:
Rach you are correct - I had re-edited before you corrected me. All is a little confusing with Nest Site 1 (Metal ring and red 6A sited) then Camera 1 (Green DX sited). Not sure if these are the same. If the siting was a genuine siting earlier then am sure he will be somewhere in the Trossachs causing havoc.
B & B - I told you to get up there and sort this out - LOL. Once things settle I am sending you up as my reporter.
2 eggs at Kielder nest 1:

Lol Keith and someone needs to go and find out.
If Metal Ring was there with Red 6A, maybe she rejected him after events in 2010. Green DX on the nest, Metal ring chased him away last year. Surely it is getting too late for this nest to be sucessful again and not sure the latest Ospreys can breed. I wish so much for a good outcome and thought it was going to be sucessful last year until the winds came. A fascinating saga it is.
Sorry if this has been pointed out before, but Google has told me that "kalakotkas" is Estonian for "osprey". I assumed it was the place name :-/
I totally panicked when I logged on and saw 2 birds on the nest, and you will notice I messed up a screenshot in the video but it's only a momentary interruption.
Here is the female (definitely ;-) ) about to ruffle her feathers:
That was after the following mating scene.
IMAGICAT
Oh! Me too, scylla! I even put it into Google Earth so I could see where it was! Needless to say, they didn't know!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Here is the male's skydance (sound only of course) and his crash-landing on the female. I cannot tell if he had the fishy thing in his talon when he landed, or what it was for certain:
WOW, what a fantastic cam and sound. Makes me kind of sad that we don't have that at LG.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Makes me kinda sad too, MOFFER! Seems like that project is very well funded. Maybe they don't have a visitor centre to worry about.
Scylla what a fantastic clear video and the clearest I have ever seen and do know the noise of a sky dance with Odin but he needs to step up now.
For the record I need to look again but I did think he had a fish :)
Wonderful scylla and thank you x
Scylla thanks for that what a lovely clear video.
