Dunedin male:
There was an instance of the female not brooding the egg in 2010. The male did his brooding shifts but the female just stood by the egg. That was at Woods Hole and needless to say there were no chicks at Woods Hole in 2010. Looks like they did not nest in 2011.
Tiger Signature
She is sitting on the egg now
I hope they are mistaken and it was a piece of dried grass not a crack in the egg.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
I cant see any cracks from this angle but she is still off it rather a lot:
3:20pm and she is on the egg now. I wish they would stop messing about with the webcam! :-(
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Has anyone noticed her being fed ?
Brenda. I have been wondering about that too. I have not seen the male and I have not seen her eating.
Thought I would put this from Dyfi on here too! :-)

Alan, Chloe, Sue C - if you looked at Alan's link earlier about the Bassenthwaite season start date, did you spot that they were going to give information about all previous hatchings? I think Sue's spreadsheet on Chloe's website doesn't have any Lake District info prior to 2006 so this could be a good opportunity to fill in some gaps. Scroll down to 31 Jan. Haven't had much time to be on here lately so don't know if someone has already put this.

TerryM We do have data for Bassenthwaite going back to 2001. We just have not put it online yet. In fact we might like suggestions as to what is the next data people might like to see compiled. Bassentthwaite is very easy since I got it.
