So the season extends by yet another day. One wonders if Bynack or Odin will fly away today. The only way to find out is to follow the thread.
There were 316 posts made yesterday.
How long will we have to wonder where Tore is? Is she in France? Is she heading for the sturgeon farm?

Did I hear him then?
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Morning all, Well I see he's still here but reading the early posts he has been unusually quiet. I haven't checked yesterday yet so off to see what happened.
Yes, SANDRA, I think it must be Bynack sounding most unscreechy! This is only a few seconds long, a little chirrup in it:

Sorry Sandra, I went outside so I don't know :o
Scylla, meant to say THANK YOU so much for the video of Odin delivering yesterday :) :) You are a STAR. You never know if it is the last time we will see him this year :o Must confess to lurking yesterday so I did see the delivery - so made my day!! As usual everyone had the commentary and capturing covered wonderfully :)
Oh Scylla, you even recorded his little chirrup that I missed! Thank you! That's three times I just played it :o (It's almost like I want to hear him throw the Bynack wobbly at this point!)
Hi - INRESPONSE TO SHIELA and reference Tiger requesting someone trawl records. The young generally commence migration around 9AM to 10 AM. These come from Roy who is very precise often blogging - At 8 or 9 X Osprey was at perch then an hour later was flying at altitude X over X etc. He does say on ocasions that Osprey X has an early start 7 or 8 etc. I imagine they attempt to feed early morning then set off and feed again at roost which generally is 5PM. However we know they sometimes continue overnight especially if they cut accross the Bay of Biscay. Hi to all and a pleasure to answer.
Morning all ... thanks for early info .... I see Bynack is still on his perch ... being very quiet! Lovely as it is to see him, I just wish he would go ... the weather looks lovely up there, as it is here ... perfect for migrating!!!

I am very, very pleased to have been of service, you can't imagine :-)
KEITH, thanks so much for that info, so helpful :-)
And now to lower the tone, here is Bynack's penguin imitation ;-)
Actually, he looks as though he's dropped his wings down by his sides, "Everything's hopeless, I give up" :'(
I think I hear him coming closer.
