I offered to start this Topic before my own trip to Scotland, so thought I'd better get on with it.
The idea - somewhere to bring together people's accounts of their visits, photos, useful information, questions from those planning a trip - a sort of scrapbook really.
I still need to write up my own visit, but anyone is welcome to post material or links here.
It's all history ChloeB... It's what shapes us..

Jag would have drowned them.... They have done untold damage to the natural history and progression of "our Ospreys"... cant put up here what I really think. GRRRR.
All for one and one for all.
Black Jaguar, I found a very similar quote to that of your colleague. It is hanging on the wall in Auchwitz and I will see if I can find it. It is so true and we as human beings continue to repeat or forget what ills have happened before. I will look to see if I can find it amongst my photos.
"He who does not remember history is bound to live through it again" George Santayana

We are bound to repeat the past.. if we do not remember what it stands for...
My mate struck a cord with me and I believe it is a good lesson learnt...
