Tore reaches 53 days today while wee brother Bynack is 48 days. So they are now both within the fledging window. Hopefully the weather will be kinder today. Will we see a fledge today? Probably not. The young uns have not been able to practice their flying skills enough, what with the very wet weather.
So whatever the day may bring.

I just can't figure the tall stick? It obviously isn't the nest edge or the nest post (not thick enough) . Any ideas anyone??
Brilliant news then. It means that they can control this camera and move it ,just like the old zoom camera
Evening everyone. I was thinking the same as you Brenda that the wider angle camera must be zoomable. That is good news. Thanks everyone for updates, pics and vids today and of course to Cirrus for the fish count and Chloe for the excellent fledging chart. Weather forecast for LG tomorrow is DRY - cloudy in the morning and sunny intervals in the afternoon. Temps 11-14 degrees. Surely there will be a fledging
CC, I've just been re 'doing' your video of Tore flying across the nest. - similar to Scylla's. In both you can see that Tore is actually flying ! However briefly - it's a great little video CC
Hello Emma
Good night everyone. We'll have to wait and see if Tore goes tomorrow. I'm going to stick my neck out and say it will be Wednesday. Just hope Bynack is not too far behind.
Goodnight Cirrus.
Night, Cirrus. I'm going to do the preening write up tomorrow. Clothes pile too big today!!
CC - it was as though Tore was saying to Bynack "don't you dare do it" giving him that quick knock on the beak. LOL LOL
