Tore reaches 53 days today while wee brother Bynack is 48 days. So they are now both within the fledging window. Hopefully the weather will be kinder today. Will we see a fledge today? Probably not. The young uns have not been able to practice their flying skills enough, what with the very wet weather.
So whatever the day may bring.

Very good capture indeed CC - of Tore showing her wings off :)
Caught up again, thanks for the link re wider webcam pic, so much better you can see the perspective a whole lot better. Although it looks like Bynack is lying down he is in fact sitting up when view from the wider angle.
Great captures from everyone.
SheilaFE - know what it feels like, pulled a muscle at the top of my leg 3/4 weeks ago and boy was it agony for a while, hard to sit down too, then whilst on holiday missed a step up into the bedroom and tried to stop myself from falling and you've guessed it, stopped myself with the same leg and pulled it again. Just getting over it now. Sorry digressing.
On to serious business - will Tore fledge tomorrow?

Some serious exercising going on and lovely chirrups inbetween.
Just been watching Cirrus' little clip at the bottom of the previous page - thanks Cirrus - it is indeed charming! Odin is quite impressive when he finally takes off, in an effortless leap and a flurry of wings.
Tore must surely fledge tomorrow - hope its not too early in the morning for most of us!
CC, I enjoyed watching your clip. A milestone for Tore.
Thanks for that, Cirrus! It is VERY sweet, and I love how Bynack just sits right down on Tore's tail and the little spat near the end. Odin looked so patient and long-suffering.

lovely interaction going onthese two uploaded straight away from normal pics taken and not through photobucket. Could it be because the site is very busy during the day, just a thought, that that is why pics can take an age to upload.
Cirrus, A rare sight these days to see Odin for so long. I keep trying to capture a family portrait before they leave. Thank you
ChloeB - meant to say, that chart is super to do comparisons with and with what was said about the weather conditions in each year it obviously dictates how soon they may fledge.
Thank you Cirrus for that gorgeous video. Don't all the birds interact so well together?
Chloe, your chart and Tiger's list make interesting reading, thank you both.
I second your comments above, Lynette.
