Daily Update (LG Nest) Sunday, 10th July, 2011

Tore is entering her 52nd day today. Will she fledge?

Not convinced she is quite ready yet...but I have been known to be wrong :)

  • Just catching up with the latest posts etc.  Brilliant capture CC, the look on EJ's face when (Tore?) took the fish and she looked as if to say "did you really take it and do you know what you are doing with it" with Bynack screeching away.  Lovely.

Alan - saw Countryfile - lovely to see Roy Dennis, not sure which osprey was fishing at Rothiemurchas  and nice to see the lake there which we know Odin and EJ fish from.

Thanks folks for all the uptodate pics and commentary.

  • Well, I'll wish you all goodnight, I'm turning in now.- Brenda, Lindy , Margo. Joan, Pam ,CC, Daisy, Em and LYnette

hope I didn't miss anyone - sleep dreams all - there have been some super pics and videos , thank you all.

  • Good night  Tore and Bynack

  • Night Cirrus.  I'm off too as early start at the gym.  Have a good night- shift all you insomniacs and far-off watchers.

  • Wonderful captures by everyone.   Just looking at them now, one, which could be Bynack, sitting and the other, could be Tore? perched on the rogue stick was preening but is now alert and watching.  Those doleful eyes, ohhhh those eyes, captivating.

At last, posted before but they didn't come up. Tried again with this one and it appears to have posted via photobucket. Cannot seem to post in the normal way, are they still having problems??

  • Just catching up before I head off to bed.   Some wonderful captures today and videos too.  Thanks everyone for making it possible that we never miss anything that goes on.

Pam your photo of EJ surfing that humungous fish is a keeper, please post it into the photo files so that it doesnt get lost in this thread.

Will be at LG on Tues morning waiting on them opening the doors, can't wait to see Bynack & Tore doing some spectacular jumps (I hope)...

I agree that Tore definitely has a lot of EJ's looks and traits, they are both gorgeous but I just love how Tore has taken that big stick over as her perch and poses for the camera.

Saw RD and Rothiemurcas on Countryfile, to see the film of that Osprey fishing was such a thrill.

    Goodnight all.
