Tore is entering her 52nd day today. Will she fledge?
Not convinced she is quite ready yet...but I have been known to be wrong :)

Both chicks go flat.

Surely there will be enough to go around. Oh oh. Intruder alert. The whale must have mass appeal
Did Bynack snatch it off Tore? Or is that Tore with it still?
EJ flies off and two quiet cheaps as she flies and the kids lie doggpo
Tore still has the fish - she lay on it whilst playing dead
Just checking in after another weekend away - thanks for all the comments, reports and videos! I'm so relieved I didn't miss a fledging!Lindsay: LOVE the fish poem!RtB: The Einstein tangent quote is a keeper - I will be using that one, and I see whht you mean that the binary one has to be visual.Alan: So glad you caught the second Fish On the Back delivery.
The kids are learning to fend for themselves...well maybe just Tore right now.
Here is the EJ whale delivery that EJ allows Tore to take off her foot. Funny how Bynack complains and EJ checks out if Tore is using correct tearing technique at the tough head side.

That has made a great tne to the day and I am sure they will both feed from it eventually, after all it is an EJ catch.

Great video CC :)
I see that intruders have been about, and that Garten is a possible visitor to the area. I was just listening earlier and heard in the background the faint call of an osprey displaying, unusual for this time of year, unless, of course, it is a first time juvenile back at its natal ground.
Listen to the background for the faint chirp and let me know what you think - is that what you remember as an osprey's displaying call? [video]
Tore's certainly sorted on the eating stakes. Now we need laddo to be able to break into a fish :)
