Happy Sunday folks!
Thanks, Margobird. I actually found "your" ospreys, when the camera I was "hooked on" that was in ospreynest in Archipelago sea in Finland, got broken first time this summer in thunderstorm. And the possibility to follow the migration is absolutely fascinating.

I was born in and grew up in a small country town called CROOK. It is in the south west corner of County Durham in the north east of England. If is about 7 miles from Toronto and 15 miles from Washington.
Use whatever talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sing the best.- Henry Van ***
Welcome Auntie to our wonderful osprey community. We have also been following your ospreys in Finland at Hailuoto and Nauvo. We were very sad to hear about Koo but feel it was for the best.
Here today it is a glorious day.

Nobody should ring you and ask for your details over the phone. If they do and it sounds important tell them you will ring BT, or whoever, and confirm it with them. Don't give them any details and try 1471 as well when you hang up. It will probably be a waste of time though.
Yes, welcome auntie, don't think we have anyone from Finland. The closest is from Sweden:)
Glad you took the "plunge" and joined it. Your english is excellent so don't worry at all.
Loved all the wildlife chat. Our possums are like Annette's, grey and we used to have a racoon family living in the woods backing onto the garden of our previous house. Had a heart attack one day when I was walking under a tree and looked up and a large racoon was looking down at me!! We also have wood chucks/groundhogs here which are very cute.
Auntie : We will have to see what we can do at International Rescue about the Nauvo camera. As you know we have 2 chicks with sat tags which we follow on GE. There are also a number of other tagged birds on Roy dennis site which might be of interest to you:

Do you know if any Finnish birds have been sat tagged this year?
Caerann, I confess to be a very "low key" birder. I love watching the Ospreys/webcams but do not do much more than that. We check out the bald eagles that come down during the winter.
We now have 248 people in the Loch Garten Ospreys group so if there is anyone out there, and I know that there are lots, dont be shy we are very friendly and would love to hear from you.
Thanks for the great photo's Alan and Lesley:)
Your guys are so cute. Love the heading "Hamish in HIS car" LOL
