I have been rather preoccupied with visitors all over a long weekend, and when I have had the time and tried to get on the system has appeared to be down.  Hope to get back in the swing of things again tomorrow, but in the meantime here is one I took earlier, as they say...

Sorry, but I have 'waited for RSPB' to respond for too long!  I'll have to try again later I think.

The wind direction must have swung round to the east for the splodges on the camera to appear, or it is swirling a lot.  Poor EJ looks thoroughly bedraggled.  It must be very uncomfortable for her to spread herself out so much to cover the chicks.

I see that Rothes is making slow but safe progress on her journey north.  I wonder whether she will reach the fish farm in France!!

Funny photo of EJ Sheila....   sounds like its still raining there, just saw the weather forecast and it looks like its to continue into the night, so another soggy night for poor EJ, Odin and family.   Not looking much better tomorrow either, maybe more showery.

Hazel you will master doing both these things no problem, it can't be hard if I managed to do it ha ha...

FISH - 20.31 ish ... just came on to see Odin getting ready to disappear and the family starting to feed! They are there ... in amongst the raindrops!!
