Daily Update (LG nest) Tuesday June 21

Morning all ... thanks for pics and posts ... and news of the first fish! GEMs are lying low, with just a scratch here and a fiddle there. No sign of EJ, but she may be off camera, or in the tree keeping watch.

After they finished the fish I saw her yelling at Odin to the right as we see it . Then I saw him fly from that direction past the nest.  So I doubt he is in the  tree. Perhaps EJ is there  watching the nest . She may be out of sight standing on her favorite log on the right that is just out of camera range

Morning, Everyone.  Some more great pics from you all, thank you.  I see that poor EJ has had a rather disturbed night, so looks suitably grumpy this morning!

EJ just returned to the nest, to be greeted by the GEMS, no doubt hopeful that this means possibly, food.

Can hear a little drop of rain, so maybe EJ has come back to keep them dry - she is now struggling to get them underneath-----

It is starting to rain and EJ came back to try and cover the chicks. It is a hopeless task at their size . She is sort of laying over them  to cover as much as possible . Today won't be  marked as one of her favorites of the season  Little sleep; tiddler fish for breakfast and now rain :(
