Daily Update (LG Nest) Saturday, 18th June, 2011

All quiet now ... time for a quick preen .. and Storm needs a cuddle!!

There are some interesting bits and pieces going on this morning - interesting, that is, if one is interested in creatures' behaviour in general and our dear ospreys' in particular.  But this video-ing lark is a rod for one's back, cos one can't do anything else whilst recording, it is one's screen that's being recorded (did I tell you that my bank statement appeared in the midst of one effort? :o ).  I'm praying that EJ and the Gems stay boring for the rest of the morning,  I've got "Interesting Behaviours" nearly finished uploading and "Stick-and-Alarms" in the queue ;-D

Listen to Star!  Clucking away like a good 'un!  Got to record it, see?  Just in case.

What a shame we can't just email videos to each other like photos, you can skip bits if you're viewing from your hard drive but from YouTube you've got to wait it out.

Thanks for all the vids,pics and commentary. Odin has obviously been finding fishing difficult over the last couple of days probably due to the weather. I would not worry about EJ not getting enough food. She will go fishing if she feels it necessary. When they fly over the desert they can go 5 days without any fish.

Scylla : I agree with you about the videoing. It does tend to get a bit time consuming and you can miss things happening live.
