Things all peaceful on the nest. It's amazing what a late night fish does to settle Osprey chicks :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Well folks, I'm about to fly off to a suitable roosting tree. Happy watching :-)
Paul.
EJ quietly on the nest.
I forgot all about the video of last night's meal :o
This is insufficiently cut off, so I wouldn't bother watching it all the way thru unless you are studying the minutiae of night-feeding ospreys :(
The end of the meal. It's worth waiting for EJ to beat a chick with a big stick.
IMAGICAT
Evening Scylla: Funny to see EJ just pick up the stick and lay it across Star's (I think) back, then go back to feeding in spite of a glare from Star.
Heron: Thanks for starting the thread.
Wow. Day cam on already.
Here is our family, a little earlier when the light was nice.
"What! You still here?"
Not sure which chick is which, but it looked like the chick on the left was feeding itself from leftovers....couldn't get a clear pic coz sibling was up and flapping about. EJ on flyabout.
I think Odin brings in late night meals so he can sleep late in the morning. LOL I don't think he is a morning bird.
Annette I love the picture of the face off between the chicks !

EJ got back while I was catching up on Weekly Chat. Looks breezy at LG today. All quiet on the nest.
The night shift here is becoming increasingly redundant . Nothing seems to happen until the UK people arrive :)
