Bless you Annette (may I call you that?) Just finishing my last glass, long day - went to the doctors with my Mum to get her hospital results. All is peaceful on the nest, EJ having a little itch and scratch every now and again ...

Wow Hazel - you're up late!  I used to do the Mum-to-the-doc/hospital/you name it routine eons ago, so enjoy the wine.  What's that they say, "Call me anything you like, but don't call me late for dinner!"

Yes, EJ having a little scratch now and then; currently has her head tucked underneath her arm so to speak....

I am up late for me - don't think I could sleep now - hope you don't mind if I keep you company?   Back on topic, are you going to post the first pic of the day?  (I love your pic at 5.42 a.m.yesterday!  Do you mind if I take a copy?)

Oh not at all Hazel. Copy away!  I'm just watching the 5 p.m. evening news (most important segment is the weather) and will start fussing with dinner in about 30 minutes....   Probably won't post any pix unless something exciting happens.....

Meanwhile, all is peaceful with EJ, "Star" and "Storm" (Oops, my big (house) cat Merlot is in the way of the keyboard LOL)

If you need to crash, go ahead. Doubt there'll be too much action, although Scylla posted a link to a great video of one chick apparently calling to Odin in the wee hours of - Monday?  Love the name Merlot (love red wine).

Thanks Annette but brain won't go to sleep .. Syclla's video (gawd bless her tenacity ;) is just awesome in the wee hours).  Meanwhile, my male house cat (Merlot) has a sister - Pinot (as in Pinot Noir not Pinot Grigio) and their younger sister is .... Rioja!!  Says a lot about me, huh?! ;)
