Dawn is breaking, but it looks very foggy. It must have gotten cold after the rain

IS THIS THE CORRECT THREAD?
YEA ! POST HERE
Afternoon all ... been out all day until now ... and was really confused for a minute ... but think I'm in the right place! Thanks for great pics and posts. EJ has just been on a flyabout , #1 is preening and #2 isn't quite sure what to do!

Lovely to see the coloured nape feathers starting to show on #2 ... both chicks preening away at the moment, just like mum!
Just because .....
It looks so peaceful there....
Just because, as Cirrus says....
Re my lostness ;) When I was looking for the new day's thread I clicked on the FORUM tab, which usually takes me to the reverse chronological list of threads - and it did, but the most recent remained the 7th, no matter if I refreshed, whichever way I approached it. I tried several times over a period of time. I wondered if it was to do with today's thread having a "non-standard" title so the site sorted it further down the list out of sight? Once I'd posted in here the correct thread appeared at the top of the list. All's well that ends well ;)
On my way thru catching up I've seen lovely pics and info that deserve thanks but must single out Annette's gorgeous scene, and especial thanks go to Barbara Jean for the explanation about the lights - I was indeed scared that ne'er-do-wells were about to pounce. (Headlights = headlights, but I expect if we went to buy some they'd be "headlamps", but I don't have much to do with cars.)
And now, to make up for earlier misdemeanours, Scylla presents THE SKIRMISH ;-D (This was mentioned earlier - I missed the first clout, of course).
