Hi everyone :-)
Thanks for all the brilliant updates, observations, pics, links etc. on yestarday's thread. Wonderful to see how quickly Star and Storm are growing. Thankfully the wind has subsided and I hope it stops bothering the LG Ospreys for the rest of the season.
EJ's awake at the moment, enjoying a good preen.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Lynette I am pretty sure EJ is getting more to eat than last year, all down to Odin of course.
Margobird
One chick at mums rear end, the other one must be the far side of EJ close to the edge.

Hi All: See the wind has returned - and is the egg still there? don't see any mention of it being moved?
Lindybitd saw the egg this morning but can't see it now. Perhaps EJ has moved it to the part of the nest we cannot see. Still windy as you say but at least it is probably a warmer wind than has been of late.
It would make sense then Margobird as there are only two chicks to feed this year.

Hi sylla
I must admit I couldn't work it out either, so I did a search. Below are the results:

Glad you knew the answer to scylla's query, Woodpecker - I wouldnt have the faintest. EJ is dozing in the heat, and the chicks are trying to keep in her shadow...
ps - I suppose that the egg is that white blob in the middle of the nest, hidden by some moss? perhaps?
Oh my goodness! those chicks look scarily close to the edge...
