I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Ah that helps. You have a <copy link location>
That works.
Yes, copy link location works for FF and copy link address in Chrome

Transferred over from Lotl thread, dont want to clutter it up with technical stuff.
Tiger we have done the link to direct post lesson and have to say it doesnt always work for me. I remember Chloe saying using "Copy Shortcut" to the date and time, but sometime it doesnt always work, it just takes me to the page, not the actual post.
I will try your post above to see if it works or not.
Edit: It didnt work, it only takes me to the page. Its annoying because sometimes it has worked in the past, taking me to the direct post, but recently it has only ever taken me to the page and not the specific post, I wonder why. I always click on the date and time part of the post, copy shortcut and put it into the hyperlink, so not sure why it doesnt work all the time.

This is how it works. It puts the post you want at the top of the page.

I fell at the first hurdle. Two problems to start with:
How do I highlight the word HERE?
When I click on the link icon nothing happens? Is this because I haven't highlighted my word?
Best wishes

Tiger and I are VERY patient, as you can see :)
Hold left mouse button down and draw cursor across word you want to highlight

You draw the cursor across it.
