I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

I am looking for assistance
Can anyone advise how you post with BOLD as JSB had done above 14/3 @ 11:55
I have tried using "Use rich formatting" but there is no tool to do this.
Or is this just copied from a word document
Can you post highlighting anything or use differing font colours or underline as you can in Word Documents
Any asssitance from anyone would be appreciated
And <control> +U for underline
then <control> + b <control> +i Control + u for all three
To do he last one. highlight the text. Then hold down the control key and type b i u in any order.
Thanks Alan (Doggie) & Tiger Where are all the instructions for this without me having to ask for assistance - I will have to write these keys in my diary - will try them later
Many thanks and appreciated
Alan (Doggie) - I wish I was as computer literate as you are - I have saved this web link and

Keith ~ you just highlight the text you want to change back to normal and repeat the same procedure

I can manage Oil and Gas Exploration as an Engineer and handle computers OK but need to be shown first as with this - so used to using the icons in Word 2010 and never realised these commands existed.
Thank You all.
Thanks Alicat got there and this forum is great as well.
Keith These were the basic Word commands before any of these new fangled icons were invented.
If you was to turn bold on then type <control> +b It will then go on typing in bold until you type <control> +b again.
