Things sounding a little breezy at LG, and just a few minutes go, EJ stood up to let me see both eggs for the first time :-)

Hello Cirrus
Yes, thanks to you I can now take photos from Internet Explorer with Windows Media Player in a larger size using Debut. I could also do it with MW Snap, but it seems more instant with Debut as I can watch the action through that window then just click on the camera several times whenever I need to.
Just catching up and thanks for the posts and pics since this afternoon.
All looks quiet and she is just sitting there looking around her - that big branch to the left of the nest as we look at it. Seems its not going to go away.Back to us at present.

I wonder now if she has to do this to start the process of producing the next egg? That would certainly explain what i saw, and would certainly put EJ in control of how many eggs she produces. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

To be honest I have no idea what was going on. I have no recollection of anything like it before or at least not that I remember. As I said somewhere else EJ did lay two eggs in two hours back in 2007 but that was special circumstances. My view in that case was that somehow the "new" male (Henry) somehow forced her to lay more quickly than normal so that he could get his new clutch under way.

EJ seemed a bit restless a few mins ago. You can just see the eggs as she got up to have a fidgit. Now sat back on them.
I have a Mac. I found an application to take a screen shot. I managed to get one and it is on my desktop. Now I can figure out how to get it posted on the forum. Any ideas??
Yikes I did it now if I can recall HOW it did it LOL
Edit: I saw it for a moment but now I doesn't show up

I will try again . It is a png should I change that??
I see it briefly but when I post it doesn't show up .
Anyone with a Mac out there that can help??
Now it looks like it worked --Thanks
Wattle: I, too, saw that behavior last night. Any explanation I could offer would be a guess. I can say only that EJ was clearly in some sort of physical distress. I saw some similar movements on 16th April at 3:54 AM, and posted the observation. :-)
Hi Barbara Jean - png files are huge, can take ages to load and cause problems. Saving as jpeg is far better and takes up less space on your hard drive.
PS am on a PC not Mac so am just guessing the file format might be contributing to your problems.

I am going to change it to a jpeg and see it it will load. Wish me luck LOL
Edit : It appears it loaded as a jpg
One snag is the screen print application that I have doesn't give me a choice as to how to save it. But I can go in and change it after it is on my desktop
It definitely is not as quick as what most of you are using. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it done. But it will do if I see an amazing shot such as when i saw the first egg. Thank goodness Auntie was around to take a screen shot for us .
I may look for a better screen shot program when I have time. This one is part of my Operating system
