EJ has just returned but Odin is just below the nest at about 12 o'clock. You can see his head bobbing around.

Here is my thinking.
2009 Odin arrives 3rd April at 1.30pm and first egg is before noon on 16th April
2010 Odin arrives 3rd April at about 7.55pm and first egg is first seen at 8.12pm on 15th April
2011 Odin arrives about 2nd April about 5.09pm and first egg is????????
My guess would be about 8am on 15th April.
It is worth going back and reading the blogs and comments at the time.

Odin came back, but I think that EJ is disappointed he hasn't brought a fish with him
This year they have definately have built up the baricades on the perimeter of the nest .
Last year Odin's little heart probably sank as he watched his chicks teetering on the edge of the nest. This year he isn't taking any chances for a repeat performance of that. He did get a bit excessive bringing in the log on the left side .
He also changed the color scheme from red moss to gold and rust colors :)

Odin returned for yet another mating then flew off again. He didn't bring a fish this time

EJ's been making chirping noises. Odin has flown in to mate, then with a stick, then to try and mate (EJ kept peeping that time) and another stick. They both flew off and now EJ is back.

Terry, Odin has arrived with another stick to add to your recent observations. I do notice though that there are two long sticks hanging over the edge on the right hand side. They mate again and Odin leaves.
Tumbleweed blowing about the nest...oh, no, it must be a lump of grass.
