Evening all: Been out most of the day; just sat down - phew. Off to check other threads; back in a bit!
Just about to check my numbers Alan....there will be no publicity!!!
Oh dear - United lost, and no numbers at all on the Lottery. Still a boost to hear about the 2nd egg though!
(Don't spend it on anything too frivolous, Alan!)

Margobird wrote - Lynette I had pre-ordered Helen Armitage book from LOtL and wondered whether I would hear anything abouet it after the changes. They did ring me last week for my details and said it would be going out soon. Not received it yet but think it will turn up probably at the beginning of next week.
Well, I'll wait and see whether it comes, as I said in an earlier post, I ended up ordering from Amazon and that is on its way.
Brenda wrote -Lynette, I am sure your Mum, before her illness, would be so happy to see that you are able to enjoy your inheritance. Must have been such fun to do all that shopping.
Brenda - it was fun doing a lot of shopping because of having the money to do so but I did and am spending quite a bit on the house as well so I hope she wouldn't have minded me doing it. I feel guilty in a way because my brother is fighting for the family home. You see, it has always been rented and when it was sold after the woman who owned both properties adjoining each other, Mum had to fight to stay there and spent a considerable amount of money to be able to. Now my brother is doing the same. However, I do feel it is time for him to move on - he is the only one living in a rather big cottage and of course the landlord wants to modernise and sell or rent to a family. He is having to fork out lawyers fees to fight for his right to stay. I hope he is successful but somehow I fear he may not be. But that is another story.
Sorry, rambling on, got it off my chest now.
Hope you are feeling better soon, Brenda H.

Alicat - those pictures of Bobbie are adorable, he is so cute.
Alan - lovely pics of bluebell wood, reminds me of home, we have bluebells and white bells in the garden at the family home.
Great news about the second egg at LG. Looking at Decorah and Norfolk very windy at both places - does that remind you of somewhere else!!!!!!
