Evening all: Been out most of the day; just sat down - phew.  Off to check other threads; back in a bit!

  • You have an eagle- eye SueC!

  • Will look out for that Sue. I presume you have now completed some official time at the nest screens at Chichester. Are you gettting many visitors yet ?

  • Latest racing result:

    5:55 Sedgefield.

    1st Odin's raven @ 9/1!

  • After last night's intrusion by a raven, that would have been an appropriate horse to place a bet on today, Sandy. Pity we didn't know this morning. Trouble is I don't know how to use a betting shop.

  • Evening All.  What an exciting day for LG, EJ and Odin - and of course us.  EJ is looking very content in the evening sunshine.

I love the idea of Odin's Raven winning the race at Sedgefield Sandy.  What a hoot.  If I were a betting girl...

Lindybird thanks for the thumbs up about the CP programme tonight.  Wow SueC, as Lindybird says, you have an eagle eye, or should that be osprey eye.  I will watch with extra care tonight.

Lynette so sad for Dr Lyn and his team.  I wonder whether there is more behind it, or is it just a new broom and bureaucracy gone made.  Have fun with your new toys.  Now, what are you cooking for us tonight?

Margobird glad yo are no longer resembling the Wild (Wo)Man of Borneo.  I am heading that way but am too mean to go to the hairdressers at six weeks, and have an appointment in early May so it has recovered for our 22 May trip up north.

Annette I hope you met up with your daughter OK.  Have a lovely time with her.

I went to London today to meet up with two old school friends from our days in Bishop's Stortford.  It's funny that my knee caused me little problem when cycling, but trying to walk from Holborn tube to Covent Garden was a real pain, literally.  Have now booked an appointment with the chiropractor for tomorrow to see if she can sort me out.  It will be intolerable if I cannot walk on hols in Scotland next month.

Must go and set the recorder for the CP prog!

  • EJ just stood up a little to show off her egg.  Have they been so white before?  I didn't think so.

  • Oh another peep and it's much more speckled at the other side.

  • The egg, this afternoon.

    Sat track schedule Spring 2014

LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies

  • Sheila: Bishops Stortford conjours up memories as though a southerner I lived and worked there for the first 5 years of marriage. First was a flat at Much Hadham.....moved eventually as it was too far from the sea. Met Henry Moore the sculpture so it shows how long ago that was.

Good day for me today a visit to my gym and did 2 spinning classes I was feeling a bit down and it did lift my spirits.

Much nicer day for EJ Odin and the egg!!!

  • Another beautiful autumn day, expecting 22 C. Two bookcases & books restored as painting is complete at one end of lounge. If I look with blinkered eyes the room does look nice.
    I've remembered it is Friday!!!

    Funny Feet
    1. While sitting at your desk, make clockwise circles with your right foot.
    2. While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
What direction is your foot going now?
    Interesting . . .
PS - if any of you are left-handed, does it produce a different result?
