Thanks Alan for the chick pic and Tiger for the 2nd chick news. I was trying to view their camera this morning, but although I kept refreshing, the picture remained frozen for a good 10mins.
As mentioned earlier I have now updated pics of Ms injury. All is well now fortunately & he is catching bigger fish so very relieved.

Wow that male sure looks like Odin in that picture . Could they be relate?

Barbara Jean Well I guess most of the ospreys in the UK are related. However Odin is a "man of mystery" since we do not know his origins. So we just do not know.
The male at Glaslyn is actually 11 (98) the bird translocted to Rutland in 1998. I will look up his details when I get time.
