Very sad news. I hope that dad succeeds as a single parent as he seems to be. Chicks got fed last night.
I have started a thread on the main forum. See here.

Good morning outlawowl and I am so saddened by the news of the death of the female eagle at Hampton. Having spent a lot of time watching this nest and seeing how devoted the parents were it is just so tragic. I see that the male did feed them and can only hope he can continue to do and they will eventually fledge. I believe they will take a decision today on what to do next.

Dad just arrived with breakfast a few minutes ago.

Thanks Alan they must be over the moon at Dyfi. 400 years is a long time to wait.
They are going to remove the Norfolk eaglets. It will be on camera.
They have just removed the Norfolk Eaglets and they are being taken to the local Wildlife Centre. So sad that their mum died in this way.
