Thanks Alan for sorting out this forum for LOTL bloggers on the LG site. Can you help me out with something - how do I get straight in to the latest blog? I keep getting in to the earlier pages first.

Em : If you go to the main Forum page through this link:

and then click on the "latest post" part of the thread title you should get to the last page.
I am astounded. She's back. Thank you so much to everyone on here who has been following events at LOTL. I worked a long hard day today and just before retiring for the night thought I would look in and see if there had been any developments. What a wonderful surprise. I will raise a glass to her tomorrow night when out celebrating friend's son's 18th birthday with family and must start planning my visit to LOTL. Woo hoo!
Hi everyoneThanks for all the updates.I'm totally and utterly delighted that the Lady of the Loch is back. I can't stop smiling here. Very happy! Welcome hame Marge!Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

ChrisyB: Yes it is OK, it is your photo and as such it is your copyright. As with mine, which I had asked earlier, their permission on the 21st June, to take the pictures of the HD panel, the day of the transformation of Lady. I also joined SWT as a thank-you.

Evening all: Let me ask a question: Last year the LOTL thread got quite long and it's still early days for 2011 . I'm not suggesting a Daily (LOTL) Update, but what if we did a Weekly LOTL Update. starting on Sundays? Thoughts anyone??
Just read 'bout Marge's return! OMG just stunning! Was out all yesterday and what great surprise it was to read this morning she really is back! And actually showing her back to cam right now :)
Annette, I think your suggestion about Weekly LotL sounds good to me
my photos in flickr
LotL weekly agreed by me, certainly as a trial,
I am slightly confused by this.... I received a reply from SWT that said all images and videos were not allowed. Surely a screen dump/shot is the same as taking photo of the screen ? I would not be posting anything unless you had a confimred response in writing to you directly.
Not sure who to ask this question of so, fellow bloggers, are we SURE that the female osprey on the nest is the same bird which has bred for the past 20 years.
It would appear to be the same bird as last year...I am astounded but delighted after all the traumas of 2010...but it seems almost unbelievable that this osprey has enjoyed breeding years which appear to be more than double the norm.
It has only been possible for us bloggers to follow webcams and blogs in the past few years but I know researchers have been following ospreys, including those at Loch of the Lowes, since their re-introduction to Scotland more than 40 years ago.
Is it possible that in the year 1999 or 2000 or 2001 a different bird arrived than had been breeding in the 90s and that she was so similar in appearance the researchers missed the change?
I know it goes against the grain to ask this in view of the delights at Marge/Lady's return but I am interested in the background.
Look forward to following this and other blogs through the season and hoping to return to both Loch of the Lowes and Loch Garten again this summer to visit our marvellous ospreys
Thanks
