Hi all and thanks for the new thread Alan. I feel like I've been in hibernation too, Lofty, as I've been without a PC for a few months. Feel very rusty about what used to be so familar - even to obtaining the correct links. So looking forward to this seasn but confess to a few misgivings in view of last year as to whether I actaully want precious Lady to return (for obvious reasons) . Sorry to be such a whimp (or is it wimp -sigh - no it's whimp).
Things are moving along, the new look blog is up (work in progress) and I noticed that camera 1 has switched from the feeder to overlooking the loch. Perhaps the nest camera will be running soon ?
Really glad I've found this forum before the season really gets underway. Thank you Alan for getting it up and running. Looking forward to the coming months, eyes glued to the cameras.
Thank you Alan - you've been missed. It's nice to see some familiar names - Have a good season everyone
Help! I can't access ANY of the cameras at LoTL - how frustrating. Anyone know what's going on or could anyone post a link please?
I recall reading about changes to LotL cams in 2011?
Meantime cam 1 is dud, but cam 2 has a video fuzzy picture of the loch, which looks still but is moving. Possibly geese or ducks on the water.

JSB: They had that camera on the Loch yesterday and it was as clear as a bell. Very fuzzy today. Not sure what is going on there. They seem to have a whole new team and not allowing comments on their blog is a step backwards.
The new LotL blog, posted yesterday. Second entry on the blog announces the changes.

Hi all and thanks Alan for starting the 2011 thread and the link to article. What memories that bit of film gave me. Would be wonderful if Lady does return but we will have to wait and see.
Bit disappointed that there will not be a blog on SWT site but can well understand why they have chosed to do this. We are lucky to have the facility to blog amongst ourselves here. I think Lady always arrived slightly earlier than EJ so we may not have long to see whether she has made it back

Meant to say I have reserved the book with SWT as money will go to their coffers.
