Can anyone tell me why I keep getting 'edit tags' a 'pencil' and now I've got a x on my LOTL thread post? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in anticipation of any help!!
Hi Ruthie,
You're not doing anything wrong - they are function buttons.
Hope this helps, Sue
Thanks Sue. I had begun to wonder why no-one else had them on their posts. As I'm a relatively novice blogger I was sure I wasn't using the right buttons to post!
A new blog from Lynda including some interesting comments about 01(09) possibly "doing a Rothimurchus" www.ospreys.org.uk/osprey-blog
Also some webcam footage from Manton Bay
This morning spent a couple of hours in the Shallow Water hide at Manton Bay. As Sandy reported there is a major twitch going on at Manton Bay so the usual array of Hubble telescopes were on display. It was more like Jodrell Bank than Rutland Water. The object of all this attention is a very ordinary looking Spotted Sandpiper which was way across the other side of the bay. Anyway here are some pics of real birds:
Mum and juvenile at the nest:
Dad and juvenile on the perch to the left of the nest:
One of the chicks hiding in the tree behind the nest:
The other 2 juvies on the far left perch:
Great pics Alan thank you.
Margobird
I never understand why twitchers behave the way they do, with no regard for the poor bird.
Lovely to see the whole family Alan. Super photographs. Thanks.
Great photos of your day at Rutland Alan - thank you very much
