Great pics, Alan - love the one of 5R and Mrs on the French perch! When I was there on Saturday they mated on more than one occasion, not something I've seen before at this time of year. Wondered whether you saw something similar today?
Brilliant photos ALAN. How far is the hide from the nest?

Sandy : No mating seen today but I believe he tried it half heartedly the last time I was there.
SheilaFE : The hide is 266 metres from the hide according to someone who was there with a range finder on his Hubble telescope type camera.
stunning photos, Alan, hope you don't mind but have copied to my picture file.

What brilliant photos Alan !! Thank you. How foresighted of the RSPB to provide a double perching post for the parent birds .
Cirrus, the Rutland Osprey Project is run by the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust and not the RSPB.
Alan Thanks for the stunning photos.

I echo that - thanks for the stunning pics, Alan (Have copied some, hope you don't mind)

Alan It is great to know that organisations like this go round the local schools to education and enthuse these children. Catch them at a young age and it will last a life time.
