HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY FULL MOON!
The moon turns full on Thursday in the UK and the US.
I saw my first Ruby-Throated Hummingbird of the year today. He will probably stay around. I have a towering old locust tree behind my house on the creek levee. Growing on the tree is an old-fashioned wild trumpet flower vine with red-orange flowers. The hummingbirds love those blossoms. A pair stay for the summer every year.
I hope everyone has a good week. Love and hugs to all.
Something has pushed this weeks thread down below last weeks - I don't know what to do!
You've done the right thing! Lynette accidentally posted on last week's post.
Well, it is now so wet here that there are puddles on my lawn!!!!
Just as well that you cut the grass, then, RUSTY !
I'm expecting my lovely hostas to be attacked by slugs and and who of course will be out and about ...
Absolutely Heather!!
Well, I am pretty much all set for my big birding holiday to Finland and Norway. I am now getting excited! We fly early tomorrow morning to Helsinki.
I won’t be on here for 3 weeks and I doubt if I will have time to keep up with all the news, so I hope all those awaiting tests or medical things get positive results, that everyone keeps well and that you get some weather which suits you. Sending hugs.
Have a wonderful time, RUSTY !
Hope you have a wonderful holiday, Rusty. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back.
RUSTY: I wish you a joyful holiday that nourishes your soul! I look forward to hearing all about it upon your return. Happy travels.
Great stuff, Rusty!! Enjoy yourself, and tell us all about it (with pictures) on your return. Love your dramatic Iris photo.
I just spent five minutes trying to get on here on my mobile phone but it wouldn't accept my signing in, and eventually locked me out! So if I disappear Ive been banished!!
