Maya and 33(11) have taken turns incubating their precious eggs and we should see the first hatch towards the end of the first week in May.
Agree Richard, those teeth can be lethal and definitely not the best fish for 33 to bring in. They've horrible eyes too. Unfortunately we see far too many of them.
And Sunnykate, we've read each other's thoughts lol, we're both willing Maya to keep standing on it.
17:59 33 returns with the fish - now headless
Maya grabs hold
and tucking in - she appears hungry. Bob still to surface
but bob is soon up and getting fed too
and more - it is getting loads
My how the Bob has quickly grown, quite sturdy when standing up.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Ha! well maybe not recently, but we did enjoy several years, posting together, so something must have rubbed off.
Keep up the good work you do.
Can't believe how big bobsplet looks....a few more blinks and he'll be at the baby dinosaur stage
Morning all
Maya preening bobsplet wants food. then 33 arrives fish less and little one looks form one to the other before 33 takes off, maybe to get breakfast
Morning ALL
04:21 33 stands watch over Maya and the little one as the sun rises
05:56 Maya takes a comfort break
06:17 Maya and bob waiting for breakfish
07:41 33 arrives empty taloned but a little agitated but soon flies off
07:50 33 returns
33 flies off again - Maya and bob still waiting on their breakfish
Morning Sunnykate - thanks for the updates, see our posts have crossed.
08:01 33 arrives with a live fish which Maya grabs
and quickly starts to feed the little bob
33 flies off, Maya continues feeding
soon getting full, beak closed
but after a little coaxing, manages another bit
Morning Karen
Good you scapped as well apologies for stepping on your toes.
yours so much more informative , my apologies.
Oh no Sunnykate - you did not step on my toes or is there any need to apologise. I'm really sorry you felt you had to post this.
I've always had the attitude the more posts the better and dupes are better than none. I'm just used to doing a catch up in the morning but that doesn't stop anyone else from doing so.
You always posted here. I remember you were a member of the Morning Group, you MaryGK, Mike and Patily. It was wonderful getting up to all those beautiful sunrises but as more nests appeared we seem to spread out and I recall you posting along with Starling at LoTL.
And isn't lovely to remember our past friends
But please keep posting xx
