Asha & Brodie
The partnership has matured this season, with Asha continuing her good female role (and she loves nest-building) and Brodie being more reliable, both fishing and incubating.
The pair have fought their way thru all kinds of nasty weather - snow, wind and rain - and intruders, including the dreaded KL5 Klive, have been a nuisance but not dangerous...
so far.

EDIT
********
Sadly, the month of May heralded irresistible aggression from BlueKL5 "Klive", who had ruined the end of last season for the 2 juvies.
Within the first 2 days Klive had driven Brodie from the area (tho Brodie did return a couple of times to dive-bomb Klive, to no effect) and destroyed the eggs. He commenced to woo Asha clumsily, selfishly and inappropriately, as can be seen from the following pages.
IMAGICAT
1 June
3:44 the long suffering female arrives on perch above nest
After a potter on the nest, Asha flew off at 04:56, no-one else seen.

She had left to go fishing at 15:15! She doesn't mess around:

Heehee, I spied on CANUCK:
lol. You caught me Scylla!
Hey, can you do me a favour and make a video of Llyn Brenig from 1:27 to 1:31? I tried to post this in the Llyn Brenig thread but I couldn't get it to open properly.
372's reaction to her new bob is just priceless. I'd like to have a video of it.
Thank you.
(I'm going to bed now.)

It's now in Brenig. I'm very grateful for the pointer, I can't spend much time at this laptop nowadays so am missing a lot of detail!
ENS since Asha flew at 06:10:
11:26 am. No doubt someone will interpose if I am incorrect but from the camera chat the female has not been seen for the last 5 and a quarter hours and Klive for 7 and a quarter hours. Unsurprising in view of Klive’s fish delivery. I think you all know my theory about the females probable whereabouts apart from fishing for herself.
I hate to be the harbinger of doom but the probability of the female returning to this nest next year is reducing day after frustrating day.
You are the BEST Scylla! I have now bookmarked that video. It's one I definitely will keep.
