HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week.
I forgot to say that the wildlife behaved normally here during the eclipse. The songbirds sang and the woodpeckers pecked. Only the black vultures reacted strangely. They formed a flock, flew and dived erratically, and seemed distressed. They're back to normal now.
Sorry I'm late starting the thread. I went to the convenience store on the highway and then sat on my front step in the brilliant late afternoon sunshine and ate my burrito.
My heart goes out to all of you who are providing care for loved ones or coping with your own physical conditions. Love, hugs, and strength to all!
Good morning. Glad to see LINDA is "just busy" - I guess that applies to all with gardens this time of year - making the most of the good weather!
We returned from Wales on Wednesdsy, & I flaked out in the afternoon after arriving. Very tired, but it may just be to do with the changing seasons, or the variable temperatures! Then rushed around on Thursday & Friday which seemed somehow to merge into one busy day. Today I've been shopping and then "supervised" my OH who was gardening-- he had previously been to the allotment to dig a whole row of seed potatoes in. We also did three loads of laundry, as bliss!! - it was dry today and even at times, sunny!
The above is the view today from our kitchen window. We have the lilac blooming now, together with the pink camellia and the apple tree which is in blossom.
By the way, the UFOs you can see are the reflection of our kitchen lights in the window!!
