2023 return dates: NC0(16) - 17.3.23 (07:43) Laddie (LM12) - 17.3.23 (13:43)
Well, what an end the 2023 season turned out to be! Who can forget the battle for the nest between both juveniles, PF4(F) & PF5(M), and then to see the total domination and aggression by the eldest when 'owning' the nest, not only to her sibling but also to dear Laddie when he provided her with fish. The season synopsis can be read in the final LotL Osprey Diary here. Did NC0 leave early to undertake her southerly migration on the 15th July, or could there have been another reason for her not to be seen on the webcam or around the reserve?
We wait in anticipation for Laddie and NC0's safe return to Loch of the Lowes. Let us very much hope for a 'fraught-free' 2024 season...

Well they’re certainly making up for lost time since he returned!
Just so good to see them both back.
They seem to be mating every time I glance over xxx
Please can someone let me know if they can post in Clywedog OK - I cannot, nor in Community Upgrade - can I post here, even ???

Return to Loch Garten ospreys or try again later.
I am getting the same thing with Llyn Clewdog about it being under review, you're not alone on this one Scylla.
I can see your post with a photo of a wet bird in preview section, but not posted.

18:48 Just prior to Laddie heading off to roost on the birch. NC0 was continuing to make her calls - I don't think Laddie was listening! lol
He landed in the same spot that he did with his fish at lunchtime
I couldn't capture NC0's flyaway about 2 minutes later, the cam appeared to 'jump' a little bit before she landed on a branch, on the birch, above Laddie
Both still there at 19:20 just before night cam came on

I get the same message as Nellie and Richard, Scylla. I had to use 'search' to find the 'Clywedog' thread as it's not showing at all on the 'recent discussions' list!
And me too, I have sent PM to AG to ask for any more info on this thread as there was hassle in setting up 2024 initially!

As you can see, I've managed to do a temp thread for Clywedog.

Matings have been going on but I can't stay to do snaps or times etc, but I've got the footage if needed. SYAL
Morning Scylla and All,
5:25 Laddie arrived at the nest, NC0 was on the birch
An expected mating but Laddie flew high and away
6:11 Mating
6:50 An attempted mating
NC0's feathers were damp and Laddie slipped off from her back
NC0 had a visitor to the perch at 7:56
It left on its own accord without any intervention from NC0
Chipping heard at 8:40
