Aran and his new mate, Elen, both returned last season on 03 April. After a will-they/won't-they start, Elen laid her first egg on 24 April and the second 3 days later. Two male chicks, 0H1 and 0H2, fledged on 20 and 23 July and were last seen on 05 and 04 September, respectively.

Elen was last seen on 24 August, Aran on 08 September.
A happy ending to a season that had started out so sadly.
May our 2024 season turn out so well.

Good Afternoon and thank you for the updates. Scylla.
Just checked in on nest to see fish delivery!
She took it to the perch!
Visit from KA5 Roli!
Amazing news, LAM! Great to see Blue 24 and HR7's 2019 Brenig offspring again, he looks fantastic!
.
This is not my video, it's Glaslyn's own, so I've made it Unlisted - short but great capture of bat:
Abbreviated KA5 Roli visit - thank you for Roli's family info, SANDRA, I'd have had to look it up:
..
Aran had brought in a Flounder and had had a good go at it before passing it on to Elen - she wasted nothing !!!
Elen spent a relatively undisturbed night on the perch.
19 April
The regular start to the day, it's a good 'un yet again:- anyone predicting the Big Egg Day/Time yet?
20 April
Elen didn't stay on the perch but didn't seem to be driven off it by the Tawny... but after a while on the nest she returned to the perch.
Aran flew in with a fishtail, ate it on the nest, then joined Elen on the perch and stayed with her for the rest of the night:
Lovely video Scylla thank you. It shows how supportive Aran is of Elen! He always usually sleeps on a tree!
21 April
Elen had a peaceful night and was joined quite early (but not extra early like yesterday) by Aran. A routine start to the day, that's as far as I've got. Packing up now.
