"New season improvements get under way" per ©️BywydGwylltGlaslynWildlife
Aran and his new mate, Elen, both returned last season on 03 April. After a will-they/won't-they start, Elen laid her first egg on 24 April and the second 3 days later. Two male chicks, 0H1 and 0H2, fledged on 20 and 23 July and were last seen on 05 and 04 September, respectively.

Elen was last seen on 24 August, Aran on 08 September.
A happy ending to a season that had started out so sadly.
May our 2024 season turn out so well.
IMAGICAT
I've only been adding snaps into "Scenes" above so this thread needs bumping - I'm using a dim view of one of the resident Tawny Owls for the purpose:

Thanks Sandra. Looking good!
.
20 March - I did a video of the Tawny Owl preening in daytime, plus the Buzzard on PC being harassed by corvids, plus an explanation of why Cam2 has to cover the nest, it was loadsa clips which I gathered up itno MovieMaker and captioned, then I forgot that I hadn't saved it and I ditched it so's to put the next lot of clips in, the Stock Doves. I've still got all the clips but I can't face redoing it.
Obviously Cam2 can twist far enough to cover the nest. We must all send vibes urging the suppliers to get the engineering fixed so they can have the 2 cams running.
Packing up time
Another Stock Dove vid - this time a close-up of a singleton:
22 March evening - the Stock Doves are here every day:
23 March - I think this was a Mistle Thrush who played gooseberry - as captioned, I had to mute the sound, the wind would pierce your ear-drums:
Early afternoon - the Mistle Thrush sang to itself, this time the wind noise was somewhat quellable but it doesn't sound as good now as it did in my sound editor
Perfectly delightful Scylla

I do love to hear a thrush sing. What a beautiful bird and video thanks Scylla.

More of the 3 Stock Doves:
It's not a very good picture so I don't think this can be the final planned setup:
